Trading VPS questions
Can I run MT4 or MT5 on these servers?
Yes. You connect over RDP and install MT4 or MT5 from your broker, exactly as you would on a home PC. Your broker provides the platform and login; we provide the always-on Windows Server underneath it.
Do I need Windows, or can I trade from Linux?
MT4 and MT5 are Windows applications, so for MetaTrader choose a Windows line. Custom bots built on python, ccxt or exchange APIs run happily on our cheaper Linux lines over SSH.
Can I run NinjaTrader, cTrader or TradingView bots?
NinjaTrader and cTrader are Windows applications and run on our Windows lines the same way MetaTrader does: you install them from your vendor or broker over RDP. TradingView itself stays in TradingView’s cloud; a VPS is used to run the webhook bridge that turns your alerts into orders, which fits a small Linux plan.
Do you guarantee a specific latency to my broker?
No, and be wary of anyone who does without knowing your broker. What we offer is servers in the same metros as major broker and exchange infrastructure, which keeps network round trips short. Ask your broker which city their trade servers are in and match it.
Which location should I pick?
The one closest to your broker or exchange, not the one closest to you. You connect to the VPS over RDP from anywhere; the distance that matters for execution is between the VPS and the broker.
