01/Is this really a dedicated physical server?

Yes. Each plan is a single-tenant machine in a Vultr data center with the listed CPU, memory and two physical drives. There is no hypervisor; your operating system boots directly on the hardware.

02/How long does deployment take?

Our test deployments reached active in about six minutes, including imaging. The provider allows up to a few hours when a city is short on hardware. Your credentials are emailed the moment the server is active.

03/Which operating systems can I install?

Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04, Debian 12 and 13, AlmaLinux 9 and 10, Rocky Linux 9 and 10, and CentOS Stream 9 and 10. Reinstalls from the client area take five to ten minutes. Windows is not offered on this line.

04/Are snapshots or backups included?

No. Bare metal on this line has no snapshot or automatic backup feature, so plan your own backups. Every plan ships with two physical drives; the second one is unformatted on delivery and works well as a local backup target.

05/Can I upgrade to a bigger plan later?

Not in place. The hardware is fixed, so a larger plan means ordering a new server and migrating. Open a ticket and we will time the changeover with you.

06/How does billing work?

Monthly, quarterly or annual terms, paid up front from your prepaid account balance, with annual terms 20% off. Top up with PayPal or any of 18 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Monero; no card or ID required.
